Wow ...new comp already

1.How was your Easter?  Did you see the same kind of things you saw last year while you were on the island?

My easter was good. I didn't see it in person this year but we were at a members and their tv was still on and the member is like look. And it showed a guy nailed to a cross and the nails ripped through his hands and he fell. gosh it was so disturbing!

2. Did you get your Easter package?

Not yet maybe tomorrow

3. How was your week?  

Week was great lots of referrals and new investigators a whole family 

So first off yes I got a new comp. The Story behind it is long. So on Saturday night President called us and said that my companion is getting transferred to Quezon city south. I am getting Elder Connelly He is from New Zealand he is half Maari and half white. He is new in the mission this is his 3 transfer. So on Sunday they picked up my companion. So the reason it happened is Elder Connelly's old comp is having challenges or something.   I am super happy though.  My companion was fine it was just hard because I was really running out of  things to talk about with him. But now it is chill. 

We got a whole new family last week and they are awesome hopefully they will come to church next week! We got a lot of good investigators just none are coming to church. One thing I really didn't like about last week is just the feeling of Holy Week in the Philippines it just feels so evil but it is suppose to be ...holy. People here are so far from the truth. The Ignorance is crazy sometimes. Like why would Jesus ever want you to whip yourself for him or crucify yourself on a cross like he did, he did it for us not so we could purposely hurt ourselves. 

But all in all it was a great week lots of help from the branch and lots of success. Yes we did teach the guy we found when we got lost (last week) he sounds super ready to receive the gospel. 

That is awesome you got to meet Claire!  Claire and Kate sound so awesome. It sounds like you had a great time with them. Have a great week family. I love you!
